Maintenance log:

12:20 – black server is taken down. Uptime to day: 256 days. Old system: Fedora 5. 1344 packages to be updated.

13:30 – upgrade of black finished – rebooting. Cleaning up post upgrade system: removing obsolete or not-used packages, removing some docs.  Starting up system update (240MB,  199 packages to be updated). More cleanup after update.

14:15 – rebooting black. 1484 packages in the system. Default runlevel 3. Preliminary testing. Mariusz X session does not work. Other minor issues with X. Taking Lipi’s machine down. Moving the DVD player onto the blue server.

14:55 – blue server is taken down. RAM upgrade to 4GB (4x1GB, DDR400, all banks used). Upgrading the system. 1354 packages to be updated. Cleanup after update. Updating the system: 166 packages, 190MB).

17:15 – rebooting blue. 1514 packages in the system. /dev/sda about to fail.
