“One hundred years of solitude” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Finished the book (with tears in my eyes). Very moving ending, one that wraps up nicely the whole novel. It was almost like an enlightening. It left me wanting to re-read the book again. The book is about Macondo, an isolated settlement somewhere in South America, about love, and war, and cruelty, and above all, about solitude. It is a story about unfolding story, about single life. Brilliant. Very easy to read, yet, very complex and complicated to understand.
